Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available at an elementary school in Englewood, CO for the current school year (CSY). This contract role focuses on providing speech and language support to students with mild to moderate needs.
The ideal candidate will hold an active Colorado Department of Education (CDE) license and have previous experience working in school settings. Familiarity with elementary-aged children and the ability to deliver onsite services with a hands-on approach are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments, develop individualized education plans (IEPs), and implement appropriate speech-language interventions for students.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student communication needs.
- Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation in compliance with school and state guidelines.
- Provide consultative and direct therapy services to children with speech and language goals.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Hold a Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP).
- Active CDE license required.
- Previous school-based experience preferred, especially with mild to moderate student populations.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with students, staff, and families.
